The KRC model consists of milling machines with a tapered head . This tapered head is composed of two heads arranged at an angle to each other.

The carbide picks are so close together that most rocks don't have a central ridge, eliminating the need to remove it by moving the excavator arm laterally. The result is continuous milling.

KRC cross milling machines can work underwater to depths of 30 meters.
