Applications

Puentes

Bridges are the most common field of application for robotic demolition systems. In these structures, the concrete is usually subjected to great wear, either by the traffic itself, by environmental conditions, or by the environment in which it is located.

docks and piers

In marine environments, salt is very aggressive with concrete structures. This makes it necessary to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks with a certain frequency, to avoid structural damage.

Dams and hydroelectric power stations

In dams and hydroelectric power plants, the body of the dam or retaining wall is usually affected by carbonation. Carbonation causes the concrete to harden, but if it reaches the reinforcement, it can start to rust, so it is necessary to remove the surface layer occasionally and replace it with a new one.

Tunnels

Many of today's concrete tunnels need to be renovated to comply with recent fire prevention legislation.

Parking lots

In all cities, car parks or areas specifically dedicated to vehicle parking are built. These types of structures are usually made of reinforced concrete and are subjected to continuous wear, which is increased by gas contamination.

Foundation

Concrete began to be used intensively in the middle of the last century, which is why today we find many buildings whose foundations and pillars are made of this material.
